Dr. Joe Malone, PhD, SRAS, CPT, LWMC, CFE, is a nationally recognized health educator, speaker, and author known as The Sexual Integrity Scientist. With a PhD in Health and Human Performance and a minor in Neuropsychology, Dr. Malone specializes in Women’s Health and Sexual Wellness, bringing both academic depth and real-world compassion to every audience he serves.
Dr. Malone taught for many years at Middle Tennessee State University, where he developed and led popular courses such as Women’s Personal Conditioning and Fitness Education for the Adult. He created a unique sorority wellness program that emphasized the biologically-rooted importance of sexual integrity as a foundation for long-term wellness. His impact on student life earned him the honor of Greek Faculty Member of the Year in both 2010 and 2016. In addition to sororities, he has worked extensively with fraternities to help young men understand the power of sexual responsibility, leadership, and respect.
Dr. Malone regularly guest lectures at major universities, including Vanderbilt, Princeton, University of Miami, University of Alabama, Florida Atlantic University, and Liberty University. He speaks across the U.S. at pro-life conferences, SRA (Sexual Risk Avoidance) events, and pregnancy help centers, offering science-backed and faith-aligned insights into health, sex, and human flourishing.
His research and commentary have appeared in publications like Heartbeat International’s Sexual Integrity Communiqué, Faith and Fitness Magazine, Natural Womanhood, Christian Health Magazine, and Institute for Family Studies. He is co-founder of Sex IQ, a movement helping youth and adults make biologically-informed, morally-grounded sexual decisions. He also co-authored the book Battles of the Sexes and recently released Women’s Sexual Wellness, a must-have resource for pregnancy centers.
Dr. Malone holds certifications as a Sexual Risk Avoidance Specialist, Personal Trainer, Lifestyle & Weight Management Consultant, and Fitness Educator. He previously served on the CDC’s STI prevention initiative in Tennessee and is the current Topic Network Chair for Health Promotion with the Society for the Study of Emerging Adulthood.
Happily married to his wife Jody for over 40 years, Dr. Malone lives in Nashville, Tennessee, close to their children and grandchildren. Together, they continue to equip the next generation with the truth, tools, and courage to thrive.
